A leading Melbourne legal firm has become the latest Corporate Member of the RCH1000.

Kliger Partners - Lawyers has joined the RCH1000 family as a partnership between the firm and its 65 staff members.

The staff have decided to devote their regular social fundraising efforts to supporting the RCH1000 through their activities on the monthly "casual day" at the firm, which includes auctions, barbecues and other events. The firm also actively encourages clients and visitors to its offices to make donations to Royal Children's Hospital.

Voula Haig, Client Relationship Manager at Kligers, says almost all members of staff know someone who has been touched by childhood illness and decided to devote their fund raising activities to support the Royal Children's Hospital.

"It's very good for our staff and very good for morale," Voula says.

Kliger Partners has built on a solid base of commercial and property expertise to include a strong commercial litigation division and new disciplines such as intellectual property, employment, information technology law and migration law.

The firm has attracted a loyal and long term base of high profile clients with high net worth and strong entrepreneurial talents and is committed to providing a full range of legal services to all commercial clients.

An association was established with Nathan Kuperholz in 1998. Nathan has extensive experience in property and related law, commercial litigation, trust law and family law.

One of the cultural values at Kliger Partners is the provision of service to the community. The firm believes it has an obligation to provide a level of pro bono work and that each staff member has an obligation to put something back into the community. For them, it means more than just making donations - it means using their skills and expertise for the benefit of others.

Members of Kliger Partners teams are involved in a number of charities through donation programs, through personal involvement on committees and similar on an ongoing basis.
